About the Role:
Napster is seeking to hire a Program Manager to join our technology team. In this role, you will be accountable for delivery of a variety of projects that launch new product capabilities to delight our subscribers, enhancements to continually evolve Napster's existing offerings and everything in between. The successful candidate will be a skilled communicator with stakeholders at all levels, someone with a proven ability to navigate and excel in small to medium organizations and brings a unique passion to leverage best practices in project management to deliver projects spanning multiple teams and serving a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Deliver product development projects, balancing scope, budget and resourcing to meet stakeholder expectations Forecast and align resources needed to reach delivery objectives Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed Proactively manage change and communicate impacts to project scope, budget or timelines Identify issues and risks, and collaborate with the rest of the organization on mitigation plans Provide project status updates to key stakeholders Contribute to project delivery best practices, techniques, and standards Identify opportunities to streamline processes, share best practices with peers and leaders, and implement continuous improvement actions on a regular basis. Technical Program Management:
Work with key stakeholders to define and prioritize the ongoing backlog of work to be delivered by one or more development teams Partner with other technology program managers to balance resources across the entire Napster delivery organization, managing dependencies to deliver the right work at the right time to satisfy company priorities Facilitate regular team meetings Write user stories, ensure acceptance criteria are complete, and validate that delivery of the work meets those criteria Keep the team unblocked and free from randomizations Triage stakeholder requests, questions and escalations routed to the technical delivery teams. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in STEM field or equivalent work experience 4
years of experience as a technology or product delivery project manager or similar role 2
years' experience in Scrum Master and / or Product Owner role(s) Excellent, proven ability to build and foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders Outstanding communications skills in writing and speaking, tailoring the right messages to the right audiences at the right time Comfortable navigating situations where processes or rules are unclear or still being developed Expert in project management and productivity tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g. JIRA, Google Workspace, Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.). Bonus Points if You Have Experience with:
