R-00130652 Description The National Airspace Systems Integration Support (NISC) program at Leidos is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst to perform a variety of duties in connection with the preparation of high-profile business intelligence documents for FAA senior leaders, Lines of Businesses, or other external groupsThe position will be supporting the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) Engineering Services Group in El Segundo, CAand is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the NISC missionThis position will support the daily operations of the FAA Enterprise Network Services (FENS) ProgramFENS is the successor to the FAA Telecommunications Infrastructure (FTI) contract, which was implemented in 2002 to provide over 30,000 communications services to more than 4,500 facilities within the National Airspace System. The program aims to design, build, operate, and maintain the FAA's next-generation communications platform and to build a dynamic, highly available and secure enterprise network to support all the agency's mission-critical applications across the NASCommunication to a variety of audiences including Engineering Services, Air Traffic Operations, Technical Operations, and System Operations is critical in this role. o Assists in coordinating and scheduling on time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures. Assists with audits and other forms of analysis of information from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventories levels, requirements, etc. Assists with reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimize disruptions in the supply chain. Maintains and updates information systems that distribute materials management information to required recipients. Coordinates the flow of limited materials management related information between and among internal and external recipients. Interprets information to identify problems and supply chain trends or patterns. Suggests potential solutions to resolve problems of limited scope affecting the supply chainRequired
Qualifications:
o Must be able to conduct research, evaluations, studies, and develop recommendation to the FAA customer. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). 3
years of experience working in inventory management or logistics. Experience in indirect procurement and supplier management. BA degree with 2
years of prior relevant experience OR Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experienceOR additional years of experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of a degree. Ability to obtain a Public Trust Security Clearance Suitability (To be eligible for Public Trust Security Clearance, one must be either a U.SCitizen OR a U.SPermanent Resident/Green Card holder who has resided in the U.S.A for the past 3 years of the past 5 years consecutively with no breaks). Travel < 10%Desired Skills:
o Experience dealing with multiple lines of business in the FAA. 2
years of experience working with enterprise support organizations such as facilities, shipping/receiving, export, and procurement. Knowledge of good material management practices.
