Services offered include field noise and vibration measurements, acoustical surveys, noise assessments, impact studies, traffic and stationary source noise measurements, mitigation design, environmental approvals, permitting, and acoustical audits.
The company inventories a full line of noise control materials and provides professional installation services.
Responsibilities Working closely with the Company Controller, the Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for managing the daily functions of the Accounting team.
Oversee Accounting department daily operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
Closely manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Monitor the daily performance of the Accounting department.
Support month-end and year-end accounting close processes.
Assist in establishing accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
Assist with annual financial statement audit and tax audits.
Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring that all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles.
Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and ensure compliance with new accounting standards.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for the Accounting team.
Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field.

years of progressive accounting experience, including significant work experience as an Accounting Supervisor.
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, preferably Business Central.
Strong computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws and regulations.
Team management skills.
Working familiarity with financial accounting statements.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
