As an embedded security agent, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of this professional sports team's facility, occupants, and assets.
You will be an integral part of our elite team, integrated within the client's organization, and responsible for providing top-tier security services in a diverse, high-tempo, and challenging environment.
This is not an entry-level position; we are seeking individuals with proven experience in armed security, preferably with a background in military or law enforcement.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated and in good physical, mental, and emotional condition.
They will have extensive military, law enforcement, and/or executive security experience with the ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written formats.
They must also demonstrate their superior leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills, and have a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
Applicants must possess a valid and current BSIS guard card and exposed firearms permit.
A CA issued CCW is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct regular patrols and security checks of the team headquarters premises, both indoors and outdoors.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to identify and address security breaches or suspicious activities.
- Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, screening visitors, and issuing visitor passes as necessary.
- Respond promptly and decisively to security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and take appropriate action to mitigate risks and maintain order.
- Collaborate effectively with our client's security personnel, local law enforcement agencies, and emergency responders to coordinate security efforts and ensure a swift and effective response to incidents.
- Maintain accurate records of security-related activities, incidents, and reports, and provide detailed written or verbal reports to our client's security management team as required.
REQUIREMENTS - Prior experience as an armed security agent, law enforcement officer, or military personnel with relevant security experience.
- Possession of a valid BSIS issued guard card, exposed firearms permit, and any other required permits or credentials.
- Thorough knowledge of security principles, protocols, and procedures, with a focus on access control, surveillance, and emergency response.
- Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in security or law enforcement is preferred.
