Job Description: Raytheon's Rotational Engineering Leadership Development Program (RELDP) fosters world-class leaders capable of leading Raytheon's engineering functions across the company. Program participants rotate through Raytheon, gaining exposure to cutting-edge principles, products and trends, working with current leaders, and developing the skills and competencies needed to help shape the company's future . During this two year program, participants will have diverse assignments lasting eight months each, and located in different geographical locations. The first assignment associated with this job requisition is with the Mechanical Optical Engineering Center Required Skills: Willingness to geographically relocate multiple times during 2-year program duration Strong technical capability Demonstrated leadership skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience working with 3-D modeling experience Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Project Mechanical design teaming skills for rapid product development Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the mechanical Engineering field Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. Security clearance factors include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the US, foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and drug involvement. Employment is contingent on other factors, including, but not limited to, background checks and drug screens Desired Skills: Basic understanding of structural and thermal analysis techniques Knowledge of materials and processes used in RF component construction, with specific applications for ground based, space based or airborne systems Experience creating the technical data package needed to support the procurement, manufacturing and production of modern airborne RADAR systems Expert User of ProENGINEER Wildfire and ProPDM/Intralink Working knowledge of Raytheon Integrated Product Development System Experience with documentation specifications such as MIL-DTL-31000, ANSI or ASME Y14.5M, ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.100 Experience with the Raytheon Drafting Standard, Mechanical Engineering Process for documentation preparation; working knowledge of metal fabrication tools and processes Required Education: Masters Degree or PhD in Engineering within previous 18 months or by Spring 2014 A 3.5 GPA or higher in graduate studies; a 3.2 GPA or higher in undergraduate studies Go further.
