Technical/Functional Skills
o BS/CS Degree in a technical field or at least 12 years relevant experience
o 7
years relevant work experience
o Strong experience in Oracle Fusion Middleware - Infrastructure side (not SW development).
o Experience in SOA.
o Experience developing and integrating software on LINUX platforms
o Experience architecting enterprise applications and high-level architectural designs
o Sizing and Troubleshooting large distributed Java and BPEL Applications within the infrastructure
o JVM Tuning Experience
o Monitoring JVM Resources in a Production Environment
o Analysis of throughput and heap
o WebLogic clustering
o Multi-tenant environments on WebLogic
o Experienced sizing compute and storage infrastructure
o Must be able to lead meetings and effectively summarize and prioritize topics
Roles & Responsibilities
o Learn the end-to-end delivery for each service, seeking to understand the function and scaling of each component in the supply chain from data ingest to customer consumption
o Create a reproducible method to aide in scaling each service delivery chain within the infrastructure
o Seek to understand how to innovate each service delivery chain, making practical recommendations to efficiently scale current and next-generation designs
o Create documentation suitable for presenting to operations, engineering and executive teams
o Communicate the scaling design and concepts to software architecture, infrastructure architecture, operations and executive teams
o Lead technical decision making exercises
o Drive recommendations to gain consensus from all impacted groups
o Remain informed on new technologiesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
