Graphic Designer/Production Artist
We are Manduka. We sell peace, love, joy, possibility, optimism, grounding, and more, in the form of thoughtfully designed, planet loving, soul-infused yoga gear. We've been around since 1997, and are growing very, very fast. Our products are innovative and unmatched in quality and our customer service quickly creates loyal fans. We love our community and sustainably support their yoga practices and their lives in surprising and joyful ways. We also practice yoga in our office, so would love it if you could join us on your mat.
We need several free-spirited designers (with production know how) who can work joyfully with others and support our Creative Director and other stakeholders. We design and create a wide range of assets including brand marketing materials (Look Books, web assets, advertising) retail and sales support materials (POP, Direct, B2B) and product materials (packaging, labels, identities). As a member of our team you'll get a wide range of experience across a wide range of disciplines. We have a particular need for print production support to execute print ready graphics and manage the pre-production and production process.
What you'll do:
-Concept, design and execute a wide variety of graphic print production
web assets
-Manage the flow of assets / imagery / and creative development
-Provide Pre-production design support, color, sizing, etc.
-Extend concepts provided across assets, working within established Brand Standards
-Pre-flight and build press-ready files
-Production management for digital and print deliverables
-Materials sourcing for innovation and sustainability, e.g., paper stock
It would be rad if you had the following:
-A yoga practice of your own
-A Degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent work experience
-A year or two of experience in graphic design
-Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office tools
-Web, photography and print production know how
-The ability to remain calm and kind in a dynamic and fast moving environment with fluid schedules and scope
-The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines (sometimes even ridiculous ones)
-A creative, solutions-oriented mind with the ability to prioritize and self manage in a team environment
-Some illustration skills would be a cool bonus
What you'll make:
-$40 - $50K year, but negotiable depending on experience
