Loan Servicing Associate Team Leader

Job Description:

This position will manage a centralized Loan Servicing unit responsible for all loan boarding and servicing activities of the Bank. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining loss prevention controls, developing and implementing procedures, monitoring compliance, ensuring data integrity and keeping productivity and quality control on target. Provides support and assistance to other operational areas of the department as needed.
Manages a smaller, less complex, and/or less risk intensive department within the loan servicing function. Team Leader as this level may perform some of the functional tasks of its subordinates. Functions as an advisor to the department regarding tasks, projects, and operations. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Ensures activities are in compliance with regulatory/legal requirements and CNB policy and procedure.
o Minimum 5 years of experience in Loan Servicing in an Inbound Processing Environment required.
o Minimum 2 years of team lead experience required.
o Minimum 2 years of loan accounting experience required.
o Demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of loan servicing, Regulations B, O and Z and their impact on portfolios, and core systems platforms, loan systems and outsourcing solutions applicable to the Bank's diverse loan servicing requirements.
o Ability to present ideas, obtain concurrence and resolve conflicts within the supervised unit.
o Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
o Effective interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in multi-tasking and prioritizing projects.
o Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
o Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of Bank personnel.
o Excellent time management skills and be accustomed to working with deadlines.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
