A dynamic growing Hospitality company is looking for a highly motivated Customer Service Agent for a nightly rental condo business at 3 different destination resorts in Mammoth Lakes, Southern California and North Carolina.
As the Hotel Customer Service Agent you are the main person interacting with guests over the phone. Your behavior can be responsible for bringing customers back again and again. The job is primarily assisting with over the phone check-in, overcoming any issues during the customers stay, coordinating with maintenance, providing directions to their accommodations and assistance while checking out and making sure the final payments are made.
Duties
The hotel customer service agent duties are:
o A courteous attitude is to be maintained
o Attend to the calls from hotel customers who are in need
o Satisfy the requests that the guests make for their comfort and ease
o Supply the reports to housekeeping, maintenance or management
o Deal with maintenance issues instantly
o Be able to perform reservations as well as cancellations
o Takes part at team meetings
o Maintain the policies of the company
o Reporting of the security concerns and inform others in case of any other issues
Skills
Excellent communication skills are a must for any hotel receptionist.
The ability to speak in a cordial manner and understand the needs of the customers on the phone.
Have the patience to resolve issues while dealing customers.
Utilize systems to maintain records of guests checking in or out, computing skills are a must.
Qualifications
A high school diploma is the minimum qualification but it is the behavior that matters most for the post of the hotel customer service agent.
Requirements
o Must have a friendly attitude
o Knowledge of the local area and amenities
o Excellent customer service skills
o Retain the attention of new customers
o Computer skills and touch typing
o Flexibility to work some swing shifts a must.
Salary DOE $10 to $15 per hour.
