Job description:
The Public Relations and Social Media Executive Director is responsible for developing and executing all PR communications and Social Media programs and strategy for the Company.
The candidate must possess extensive beauty, social media, and public relations, experience with a proven track record of success in garnering substantial media impressions as well as delivering top-tier media and publicity results. This person should also have their finger on the pulse of beauty, entertainment, pop culture and have a vast network of beauty and lifestyle contacts and relationships.
Additionally, this candidate must have strong skills in reporting, analyzing, strategizing, communicating, managing and leading a team to success.
The Global Communications Executive Director will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and will be the contact for all other company channels that require public relations support.
Primary Job Functions:
Develop global communications strategy and programs and manage all media relations, public relations, publicity and corporate communication endeavors
Gain support from Executive Team and Regionals on PR priorities, budgets and programs.
Direct the production and approvals of press releases, videos, photography, press kits and other PR tools necessary to communicate image, product, and spokespeople
Drive PR innovation through digital plans, while cultivating & building relationships with bloggers, influencers & emerging talent.
Develop Toolkits & best practices for international markets.
Partner with International Marketing Director & Distributors to support & grow international.
Ensure a consistent and clear message in line with Company mission and philosophies throughout relevant communication channels.
Develop a process to deal with & lead Crisis Communications.
Create annual departmental goals that support overall company goals, for internal PR Team as well as partnering agencies & consultants
Track all goals weekly and ensure they are being met or exceeded and trouble shoot with project managers if goals are not on track.
Create department budget and allocate funds to support department goals, while overseeing ongoing department spend, ensuring it is in line with the proposed budget.
Own all social media activities for the organization including social care, social marketing and social business.
Monitor, provide guidance and engage in brand related online conversations and ensure effective curating, coordination and execution of all content (owned, earned, paid).
Collaborate with our Customer Service Team to ensure social care customer inquiries are addressed quickly and effectively.
Build a strong, engaging, and brand-appropriate voice in social channels in alignment with marketing priorities and online strategy.
Report on social media results and insights via program analysis tracking, benchmarking and reporting meaningful metrics.
Manage all applicable social media vendors and platforms to ensure our presence is consistent throughout all social media channels.
Manage social brand advocacy and engagement programs to continue to generate positive brand experience.
In collaboration with Web/Digital, Brand, and PR, strategically leverages social media channels as a key element of integrated marketing programs and product story telling.
Develop and execute creative marketing initiatives that will drive revenue and profit through digital and social media platforms.
In partnership with PR, identify and develop relationships with influencers/bloggers to generate media coverage and drive community awareness, develop seasonal press events and communications.
Create/develop content (including video) for web and social platforms (blog, Pinterest, FB, IG).
Create content & editorial calendar.
Understand and adhere to marketing budgets.
Act as the social media advocate providing subject matter expertise and training throughout the organization.
Minimum of 8 + years management experience
Corporate or beauty public relations experience required, global beauty brand experience essential
Strong relationships with beauty, health and wellness press
Strong track record in securing press results and feature story coverage
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
Detailed knowledge of emerging media and beauty trends on a global scale
Proven track record in managing budgets & developing talent
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in Communications or Public Relations
Bottom Line Requirements:

2. 8 + years of management experience in the beauty industry.
3. Corporate public relations experience with a global beauty brand.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
