Pay: Up to $31/hr

Responsibilities:
Sets up and operates a variety of machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers, and precision grinders to make composite parts and tools machined to exacting tolerances, dimensions and reading production orders. Interprets blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications; determines sequence of operations, number of cuts required, and method of setup; uses a variety of machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments; makes standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work, tooling, feeds, and speeds; measures, marks, and scribes dimensions and reference points to lay out stock for machining and working alongside programmers and facility personnel for timely problem solving and trouble shooting. Machinist should also be focused on details and experienced with low tight tolerance measurements. Candidates must also carry high standards of cleanliness and using best shop practices for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Cost measures.
Workweek: 9/80; Shift: Candidates must be willing to work any shift or work schedule.

REQUIRED
Experience:
High School/GED plus 5 years of machinist experience working in a mid-to-high level production machining environment. Must possess knowledge and experience operating multiple pneumatic machine types and ability to read, translate and follow shop floor engineering documents, requirements and work instructions. Ability to use various inspection tools and techniques. Candidates must be willing to work any shift or work schedule.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
