Overview
Stamps.com is seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the position of QA Analyst, Server, within the QA Department.
Responsibilities
Test Web Services and other integration projects performing functional and data validation
Prepare test strategies and write test cases based on requirements, functional and/or technical specifications and other documents
Perform test design, implementation and execution
Determine best methods to integrate new features into existing regression suites
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing application defects
Accurately identify and document software defects with reliable steps to reproduce
Ability to track requests through multiple server applications/interfaces
Prepare test automation scripts/suites using SOAP UI, Groovy, C#, Java, etc.
Run existing or new test automation scripts as needed, and analyze/report results
Troubleshoot and test environmental issues as necessary
Work closely with development, product and other team experts to gain a clear understanding of requirements
Must be flexible and capable of multi-tasking, working on multiple projects in parallel
Capable of setting and meeting scheduled estimates, timelines and milestones
Performance expectations to be met at the end of the first six months:
Demonstrate a clear understanding of SDC core functionalities, databases schema, and can perform testing in the same area
Be able to create test design and perform test implementation covering all important and high risk cases
Be proficient and a contributor in the SoapUI regression projects and its Groovy scripts
Demonstrate expertise to run existing automation tool and analyze the results to find system defects
Ability to troubleshoot environmental issues by analyzing server logs
Able to clearly write up effective bug report
Qualifications
5
years of work experience as QA analyst
Minimum 2 years' experience testing Web Services (SOAP preferred)
Proficient in creating and executing test cases
Understanding of testing methodologies such as white/black box, integration, system, regression, etc.
Self-starter, fast and focused learner and able to apply QA concepts and techniques in everyday testing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong understanding of constructing/executing SQL queries
Understanding of the SDLC processes
Ability to work independently and mentor quality assurance team members
Experience running and interpreting the results of test automation using industry standard scripting and automation tools
Experience using defect-tracking software such as FogBugz or JIRA
SOAP UI and Visual Studio
Preferred skills:
Knowledge in test automation with using C#
Experience in using versioning software, such SourceSafe or Perforce
Experience in load and stress methodologies and testing

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
