TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions, Telecommunications, GS-0391 BASIC REQUIREMENT OR INDIVIDUAL OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT:
Undergraduate and Graduate Education:
Major study -- electrical or electronic engineering, mathematics, physics, public utilities, statistics, computer science, telecommunications management, information systems management, business administration, industrial management, or other fields related to the position to be filled. Other Education:
Communications/electronics or automatic data processing training in technical institutes or business schools above the high school level or in Armed Forces schools that included advanced instruction in addition to basic courses, may be substituted for general experience on a month-for-month basis. OR SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include providing guidance or sharing expertise to others to meet organizational needs; directing assignments to encourage employee development and cross-functional growth; establishing new fundamental concepts and criteria and stimulating the development of new policies, methodologies, and techniques; and converting strategic goals into programs or policies. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Knowledge of a wide range of IT capabilities, characteristics and principles to provide IT and telecommunications infrastructure and network architecture support to SMC, tenants, government contractors and other customer. Knowledge of communications program management, control of resources to include budget, billing, manpower, security, policy and formulation. 2. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures. 3. Ability to plan, organize, direct functions, mentor, motivate, and apprise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. Ability to analyze, plan, and adjust work operations of one or more organizational segments to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. 4. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing. 5. Knowledge of analytical techniques and methods used to evaluate and determine the requirements for information technology equipment and systems. 6. Knowledge of a wide range of IT processes, concepts, principles, methods, policies, practices, and serve as leading technical authority. 7. Ability to perform long-range analysis, and to develop innovative IT system programs, policies, and requirements. 8. Ability to plan, direct, coordinate, and establish VI policies, programs, and procedures. PART-TIME OR UNPAID

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
