DATA QUALITY AND SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, for GS-0301, Miscellaneous Administration and Program Series. SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Applicants must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-02, equivalent to the next to lower grade GS-11 or equivalent in the Federal Service. Specialized experience must include extensive knowledge of analytical and investigative techniques to conduct studies of manpower, military and civilian personnel organizational structure, data systems, processes, objectives, resources requirements, and Center policies. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs):
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. A comprehensive knowledge of data systems administration, data programming, data analysis, software/hardware applications, functions, techniques, and capabilities sufficient to develop procedures to provide data analysis reports, audits and evaluate a variety of operational data processing activities, in support of end user. 2. Skills necessary to work with computer systems and Agency data processing standards to administer and implement new and emerging IT systems, and perform feasibility studies of proposed new systems, to debug, and maintain information systems, and to ensure successful integration with existing and anticipated infrastructure in the manpower/personnel database environment. 3. Knowledge of manpower, military and civilian personnel organizational structure, data systems, processes, objectives, resources requirements, and Center policies. 4. Knowledge of Air Force and DOD organization missions and functions. 5. Analytical skill and evaluative techniques to identify and resolve or recommend solution to complex issues and problems. 6. Ability to provide management advisory services and to use various computer systems and software programs to include:
DCPDS, DCIPS, DPMAP, ACQDEMO, MPES, MILPDS/PCIII, Business Objects, Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle to provide solutions, programming capabilities, and evaluate alternative approaches in support of mission objectives. 7. Extensive knowledge of analytical and investigative techniques to conduct studies/analyses concerning requirements and utilization issues 8. Skill and ability to communicate orally and in writing PART-TIME OR UNPAID
Experience:
Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
